Makes 4 Baguettes


3 cups bread flour

1 teaspoon salt 

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon instant yeast

1½ cups water




Mix together flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Stir in 1.5 cups water to combine. Cover with plastic wrap and a clean kitchen towel and rest at room temperature for 1-3 hours, or until doubled in size. 


Preheat oven to 475˚F (250˚C). Scrape out dough onto a clean dry kitchen surface. Roll out in flour and shape into a ball. Cut into quarters. Making sure to use enough flour so the dough doesn’t stick to the counter, or your hands.


Roll out into 4 long baguettes and place onto the baking paper. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle sea salt. Bake for 15-20 min or until golden brown.
